Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or brand new to the world of Pokemon Go, you’ve probably heard about the mobile game through friends or social media, if you’re able to create an account, you can then keep track of any friends you encounter during the game.
How to Create a Pokemon Go Account via Google
To create a Pokemon Go account via Google, you will need to have a Gmail account after logging in, go to the search bar and type in Pokemon Go then click on the game or type Pokemon GO into the search bar, once it loads, click on play then follow the instructions.
How to Create a Pokemon Go Account via Facebook
If you’re already on Facebook, it will be easy for you to create pokemon go account if you’re not, creating an account is simple and quick.
First, open your Facebook app on your mobile device and log in with your username and password, once you are logged in, scroll down and tap the Pokeball icon on the bottom of the screen, this will bring up a list of available games choose Pokemon Go.
Next, tap Create an Account near the top right-hand corner of the screen and follow the instructions to enter your personal information e-mail address or scan a QR code using your camera.
You can also choose to log in using Facebook if you have an account already with them; just input your password when prompted.
How to Create a Pokemon Go Account via Email
If you want to create a Pokemon Go account through email, you need an email address that is associated with your phone number.
Start by tapping the button for Create Account on the app page, this will open up a new window where you can sign in with an email address and password.
Enter your information and then tap Sign Up, once you enter the game, it will automatically ask for your phone number.
You should then select No thanks, I don’t have my phone with me right now, as soon as you get home, enter your phone number and follow the instructions on the screen to complete registration.
How to Create a Pokemon Go Account via Other Options
If you’re not keen on creating your account through the official website, there are a few other methods to consider.
The first option is creating an account using Facebook, if you have a Facebook account, then it’s easy to go to the Pokemon Go page and click Not Now if you don’t want to sign up right away.
If you do want to create an account, then Facebook will lead you through the process of signing up with their email address or username, you can also create an account through Google if you have a Gmail account but don’t have a Facebook one yet.
Lastly, if neither of these options sounds good for you, then there is always an email, it might be the least personal option out of all three, but it does allow for an easy sign-up with just one click.
Once your email has been verified by Niantic Labs the game developer, then your account is set and ready to go.
